Ventana Medical Systems, Inc., (ÒVMSIÓ), a Tucson, AZ based manufacturer and supplier of medical devices used in the diagnosis of solid cancer tumors, completed its follow-on offering of its common stock. VMSI raised $40.5 million in new equity. The proceeds were used to expand its market share, the final development of its in-situ hybridization medical device and general corporate purposes. Dillon Reed & Co., Bear Stearns & Co. and Cowen & Co. acted as the Company's financial advisors.
