IInternational Rectifier completes acquisition of Zing

International Rectifier Corp. announced today that it has completed its cash tender offer for Zing Technologies Inc., a maker of semiconductor products.

With the acquisition, International Rectifier adds Zing's high-reliability multi-chip power semiconductors, integrated power integrated power modules and packaged semiconductor components to its portfolio of systems and components.

International Rectifier's investment banking team, including Robert T. Smith, assisted in sourcing, negotiating and closing the transaction.
